Background – I was born in Calgary and spent my childhood playing soccer, beginning at the age of 3. I was captain of both my high school soccer team and my minor soccer team for 3 consecutive years. Immediately after high school, I moved to Kelowna and attended the University of British Columbia. In 2016, I won the UBC Community Leadership in Engineering Award.

I enjoy golfing, and I still play soccer in Calgary’s competitive mens league.
