Hanna Test Center

We are pleased to announce that SAMAC Engineering Ltd. is one of only three authorized users of the Hanna Test Centre (HTC), located about 2 1/2 hrs east and north of Calgary, AB. HTC is the only vehicle test facility in Western Canada capable of performing federal compliance tests that require a test track. It has a 3.5 km (2 mile) long paved oval track on which vehicles in excess of 100,000 lbs (mobile cranes, drilling/service rigs) can be accommodated. Typical CMVSS/FMVSS tests that we can perform include air brakes, fuel economy, roll stability, and movable barrier crash tests. In addition, HTC is the optimal venue for recreating or staging collision events to validate technical collision analyses, high speed vehicle testing, and simulation of avoidance maneuvers in a safe and controlled environment.
