Tyler Dyck, B. Eng

Tyler has recently joined us graduating as a mechanical engineer in 2009 from Dalhousie University.  He spent 5 years in the Western Hockey League, and then maintained a 4.2/4.3 GPA while playing varsity hockey during his 5 years at university.

Steve MacInnis and Gilles Amirault have attended advanced workshops on the updated PC Crash 8.1 program over the last 6 months.

Brent Fukuda, Electrical Engineer, CFEI

Brent was awarded his CFEI designation (Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator) by the U.S. National Association of Fire Investigators.

Teaching

Brent Fukuda, our electrical failure expert, taught the electrical portion of a building inspection course for senior engineers at the request of a major technical educator (http://www.epic-edu.com/).  His reviews were fantastic.

Research Paper Presentation

SAMAC’s engineering reviewed research paper, "Variability of Yaw Calculations from Field Testing", was presented by Gilles Amirault at the society of Automotive Engineers International Conference in Detroit.  The paper was the result of 2 years of research in partnership with the Calgary Police Service.
